It is a mandatory requirement for importers of used equipment and machinery into Uzbekistan to obtain a Pre Shipment Inspection Certificate issued by the authorised regulatory body.

Qtech Control have many years experience at providing consultancy services, inspection and arranging certification of a wide variety of used plant, machinery and equipment destined for Uzbekistan.

In order to import certain goods over a value of USD 10,000 into Uzbekistan, it is mandatory for the importer to arrange a Pre Shipment Inspection by an independent inspection company, registered and authorised by the Uzbek Agency on Standardization, Metrology and Certification, also known as "Uzstandart Agency".

Qtech Control work with of a prominent Uzstandart authorised inspection company who are licensed to perform the necessary price valuation and inspection of goods as defined in the Pre Shipment Inspection regulations detailed in Decree 534 dated 3 December 1997 and Decree 66 dated 2 February 2001.

Failure to provide an approved Pre Shipment Inspection (PSI) Certificate and a Clean Report of Findings (CFR) can result in goods being rejected or detained for an indefinite period at customs on arrival in Uzbekistan.
